At 23th February 2012 Interster International has been taken over by Vereinigte Papierwarenfabriken GmbH (VP Group). This take over will assure the continuity of Interster International in the long term. The VP Group was founded in 1896, and since then it has successfully been run as a family enterprise. Today the VP Group is in the hands of the family's fourth generation and acts as one of the leading European packaging manufacturers. Mr. Thomas Lux has been appointed as managing director of Interster.
