Secu-Wrap® nonwoven sterilization packaging material is composed of 100% polypropylene fibres. This new generation nonwoven combines a high resistance in pulling strength and optimal steam penetration with an excellent drapeability and complete bacteria barrier.

Components
Secu-Wrap® is composed of four layers of polypropylene SMMS (Spunbound, Meltblown, Meltblown, Spunbound) of which the two inner layers consist of microfibres that ensures the bacteria barrier.

Features
Secu-Wrap® sterilization packaging materials have excellent liquid repellency preventing migration of bacteria. Secu-Wrap® green is also proof against Isopropyl-alcohol of 90%, which makes the material not only suitable as packaging material, but also adequate as a sterile field in the operating theatre. Interster’s Secu-Wrap® ® is strong and flexible and offers, because of the combination of the two outer layers (longdrawn polypropylene fibres) with the two inner layers, a high resistance in pulling and tearing strength. The exposure of dust and particles is reduced to a minimum, excluding almost completely the migration of bacteria. Secu-Wrap®
is both before and after sterilization memory-free, for due to its unique components and structure, the material does not fold back when the sterile set is opened. This ensures a good aseptic technique and prevents contamination.

Quality
Secu-Wrap® complies with EN 11607 1&2 and is suitable for steam, EtO, gas plasma and formaldehyde sterilization.
Secu-Wrap® comes in a great variety:
- singular: for light usage.
- regular: for common use, such as light materials and instrument sets.
- heavy duty: for heavy instrument sets.
- Interleaved: for two-phase-packaging; this is a combination of Secu-Wrap®
Regular and Heavy Duty.
- All-in-One: for one-phase-packaging.
