Meatex exists of 5 layers polypropylene SSMMS (Spunbound, Spunbound, Meltblown, Meltblown, Spunbound), in which the two meltblown innerlayers exist of microfibers that stop particles, blood and other liquids and exceeds the current standards

The Meatex Sterile Barrier System has excellent liquid repellant qualities that prevent the migration of micro-organisms. Meatex Green also resists Isopropylalcohol 70%, which makes this material not only perfectly suitable as a wrapping material, but also as a Sterile field in the OR. Intersters Meatex is strong and supple. Due to the combination of the three outer layers with the two innerlayers Me-atex offers a great tear resistance.

Meatex is both before and after sterilization memory free, which means that the material doesn't leap back after opening the sterile tray. This leads to a very good aseptic technic and avoids contamination. Meatex can be steam, ETO-, formaldehyde and gasplasmasterilization.
